Order processing - pricing policy

The order is a distance contract applied by the relevant legal framework (article 4, law 2251/1994, as amended and valid). Pressing the button integration by the consumer, by means of a payment obligation, with the entry of the order receives a message from the online company with the order details and confirms this with related information such as:

(a) the ordered product, (b) price, amount, VAT, (c) method of payment and delivery and (d) the right of withdrawal.

Orders and shipments of products or goods are accepted both in Greece and abroad. Orders are executed by gleek.gr within working hours (9: 00 am-17: 00 pm) except of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Orders received outside of the working days and hours, will run the next working day.

The prices of the products/goods are final (including tax). gleek.gr reserves the right to change prices without prior notice to the customer. Irrespective of the price fluctuation, the customer always pays at the time of receipt of the product/goods the price which was agreed at the time of finalizing the order.

Order cancellation/refund of products and goods

I. Product/Goods Refunds by charging the cost to gleek.gr

Return of products or goods by charging the cost to gleek.gr is accepted in the following cases:

In the case that gleek.gr wrongly executed the order (mistake in ordering, pricing or shipping). In this case, the client shall not accept to receive the product/goods. The products/goods must be returned in perfect condition, sealed, full, without being used and without corruptions. Products must be returned in their original packaging.

In the case that upon receipt you identify any defect in the product, gleek.gr must replace the defective products. The user must inform in writing by sending an e-mail message to the address [email protected] within fourteen (14) working days after receipt of the defective products otherwise loses the right of refund. Defective products should be returned directly to the company for the receipt of the claim of the user. Any shipping costs for the replacement of products but also for the return of defective products shall be borne by gleek.gr. Once the claim is inspected and approved gleek.grmust proceed to the replacement of defective products or refund of money paid directly, and not later than (14) days after receipt by the company of defective products.

II. Product/Goods Returns by charging the cost to the customer.

Return goods/products by charging the customer are accepted within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery to the customer, where the customer in good faith and without abusing the right changed their mind and does not want to buy the product. In case of impossibility of providing then, following the information in the above, the order is considered as non-action, without showing any responsibility for gleek.gr.

Order receipt

The delivery of the product/goods is only to the purchaser who is required to show the courier the identity card or passport. The order is allowed to be delivered to a third person who is legally authorized to do so, ID or passport details recorded by the courier who, in the case of delivery to a third party, keeps the authorization document.

The signature of the customer on the relevant document is agreed that Shipment is full proof of delivery of the order to the beneficiary.

13. PAYMENT METHODS

A. By credit/debit card

The customer has the option of repayment of his orders via credit card.

The customer is solely responsible for the correct, full and true record of credit card data, and expressly acknowledges that gleek.gr bears no responsibility for these items or the proper use of them.

B. By deposit into a bank account.

In gleek.gr we indicate the bank accounts to which the user may deposit the amount of the order. The user must then send the deposit document by fax to the number referred to in the e-mail order confirmation on a working day and time. Within (1-10) working days of receiving the fax, gleek.gr processes the order and initiates the sending of the products.

C. By using Paypal.

The payment of the order can be made by the user’s Paypal account. The payment process takes place through the website of Paypal and during this process of personal information (including credit card number) no data is saved in gleek.gr.

D. By cash payment on delivery:

If the user/customer chooses payment by cash on delivery, payment of the products is made at the time of delivery by the courier company, this has an extra charge of one (1) euro.

In all the above methods of payment the customer has the choice of a retail invoice or receipt.

Invoices are only issued to legal companies once they fill in their following details:

Company name, address and VAT number.

14. DELIVERY / SHIPPING / EXPENSES OF PRODUCTS

Delivery time

The delivery of the products/goods is completed within the next 1-10 business days from the day of completion of the order and depends on the availability of the products. In exceptional cases of remote geographical points and if the customer has been informed earlier, the delivery time may be extended.

Ways of delivery

1. The main way of delivering the products/goods order is via Courier service.

Shipping charges – Cash on delivery (For Greece)

Where there are shipping charges – cash on delivery are prominently displayed on the page of the product/goods and devolve exclusively upon the customer.

For purchases of any products of a total cost of fifty (50) euros or more, the customer does not bear the shipping costs. . In case of cash on delivery, there is an additional charge of one (1) euro.

For purchases of products with a total cost below fifty (50) euros, the customer will be charged three (3.00) euros, for shipping.

Force majeure

If for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather conditions, strikes, social unrest) there is inability to deliver goods within the above time schedule, gleek.gr will communicate as soon as possible with the client in order for the latter to indicate whether they wish to receive the order with a delay.

15. LIABILITY FROM THE USE OF PRODUCTS

For any defect in the product and for any damage caused to the user (positive or negative) the responsibility lies with the supplier of the product whose setup data (address, telephone number, e-mail) are found on the packaging and in any case is to the user's direct disposal if requested by gleek.gr.

16. APPLICABLE LAW

Any dispute between Customers/Users and gleek.gr is agreed that explicitly governed by Greek law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens. 

According to Directive 2013/11/EK, which was incorporated into Greek law by Joint Ministerial Decision 70330/2015, the option of online consumer dispute resolution is now available via the Alternative Dispute Resolution process throughout the European Union. If the customer has a problem with a purchase conducted through the Online Store and residing in the EU, he/she can use this site (Online Dispute Resolution) for an out of court settlement.
